While not machine washable, regular upkeep for your Easy Care Wool Rug is simple.

Cleaning

• Vacuum regularly on low suction with the rotating brush/beater bar off, working in multiple directions to lift debris. Do not vacuum the fringe

• Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry, white (undyed) cloth. Press firmly to absorb; do not rub or scrub

• Spot clean stains with a gentle, clear spot cleaner & stain remover. Spot test first, mist lightly, blot, and air dry. Do not saturate or scrub, and avoid using the cleaner on fringe.

• If needed, trim loose ends level with the pile using scissors. Do not pull. Contact Customer Support for running loops, loose binding or yarns, or fringe damage

• For stubborn stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended

Care

• Use a rug pad for added traction and cushioning, and to help protect your rug and floor from friction and wear

• Some shedding is normal with wool and will decrease over time with regular vacuuming. Shedding is typically highest during the first 3–6 months

• Indoor use only. Avoid damp areas, including bathrooms, basements, and areas near humidifiers or vents

• Limit direct sunlight to help prevent fading, and rotate your rug periodically to promote more even

  colour exposure

• Robot vacuums are not recommended for wool rugs

• Use rug protectors under furniture to help prevent pile flattening

• Rotate or reposition your rug and rug pad every 3–6 months to promote even wear

• To store, roll with the pile side out, wrap in cloth, and store in a dry, well-ventilated area. Do not fold or store in airtight plastic

Made from wool with a 5–10mm pile, the Malta Beige Easy Care Wool Rug is crafted in small batches in India for a beautifully considered finish. Due to the nature of the wool dyeing process, slight colour variations occur naturally. This is part of the uniqueness of your rug!
